Englewood Parks and Recreation is pleased to offer the option of online registration for classes. The guidelines below will help you through the process.
How do I begin?
First, visit the registration website: www.englewoodrec.org. On this site, you can browse class offerings by clicking on the guest button without logging in. Copies of the Englewood Recreation Activities Guide and the Malley Senior Activities Guide are online as a PDF file. Guides are produced quarterly.
When you know what classes you want to take and are ready to register, you will need to log in to the system with your household number and a password that are on file in the Recreation computer database. If you have not established your household in our system yet, contact a customer service representative at 303-762-2680 during regular business hours.
The system will walk you through the online registration, but if you have questions, contact a customer service representative at the Recreation Center (303-762-2680) during regular business hours.
What if I have a household account, but don't know my number?
If you have a resident ID card or a Recreation Center Pass, your household ID number is located on the card. You may also e-mail a request from the online registration "Request ID" link.
If you do not receive an e-mail reply immediately, there may be an error in the information you submitted or in our database. A customer service representative will contact you by phone or e-mail to help correct the problem.
You may call the Recreation Center (303-762-2680) during regular business hours to retrieve your household number or correct any problems.
Can I change my household information online?
In order to maintain the integrity of our database, you are not allowed to change information in our database. If you need to update your address, phone number, or family members, contact the Recreation Center (303-762-2680) during regular business hours. You may also e-mail a request.
Are there activities I can't sign up for online?
Most activities are available online. A message will appear on activities that are not available for online registration.
Can anyone register for senior activities (age 55+) listed online?
Most senior activities are restricted to participants 55 and over, but there are certain senior activities that allow adults under 55 to participate on a space available basis. Please contact the Malley Senior Recreation Center (303-762-2660) for information on specific activities.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. All payments are processed in a secure environment.
What if the class or activity is full?
If the class or activity you want to sign up for is full, you will get a message asking if you want to be added to the waitlist. If you choose to be added to the waitlist, you will be notified by Recreation staff if a slot opens up.
How do I know my online registration was successful?
Once your payment is accepted, you are enrolled in the class or activity. You will receive a payment confirmation via e-mail if you place your e-mail address in the "e-mail field" within the payment screen. You may also print a record at the conclusion of your transaction.
Are Englewood residents given priority?
Englewood residents are given enrollment priority at the beginning of each registration period (specific dates are noted in your Activities Guide). Non-resident registrations are accepted during this time, and are prioritized by date and time submitted. Once the resident priority enrollment period has concluded, all remaining spaces are filled by non-resident participants in the order received.
